vice.multizone.n_stars
======================

Type : ``int``

Default : 1

The number of star particles to form per zone per timestep. These are
tracer particles which are stand-ins for entire stellar populations
which form and migrate between zones according to the attribute
``migration.stars``.

.. note:: If the star formation rate varies in the simulation, this
	will impact the simulation by forming star particles of different
	masses as opposed to a different number of star particles.
