The power-law index on gas-dependent star formation efficiency, if
applicable:

.. note:: This attribute is irrelevant when the attribute ``tau_star``
	is a function of two variables.

.. note::

	This number should be 1 less than the power law index which
	describes the scaling of star formation with the surface density
	of gas.
